Children's Nature Center

 Since opening on January 4, 2014, over four hundred fifty educational field trips have taken place at the Children’s Nature Center. We have provided educational programs plus tours to over one hundred thousand guests at The Children’s Nature Center. As a nonprofit we are dependent upon donations from our community. This coming Tuesday, December 5th, nonprofits throughout Colorado are participating in Colorado Gives Day. Your donation will be matched in part by the Community First Foundation's $1 million incentive fund.

The Children's Nature Center (CNC), a 501 C 3 nonprofit, is the only living museum within a 250-mile radius that exhibits exotic animals in naturalist habitats. The center hosts more than 150 unique creatures, ranging from 16-foot pythons to 1-inch-long dart frogs to lively stingrays. We have saltwater and freshwater habitats, displaying wide variety of aquatic life. CNC features a collection of snakes, reptiles, and amphibians. Our living and inanimate exhibits are all designed to educate guests on animals, wildlife, and the environment.
